LOCAL BY DESIGN

Your webpage captures stay on your device.

FullPageRoll handles webpage data only after you start a capture. It does not upload, sell, share, or use capture data for advertising or analytics.

Effective August 16, 2026 · Applies to FullPageRoll v1.6.8 and later

01

Data FullPageRoll handles

  • Screenshot pixels and temporary image fragments needed to assemble the capture.
  • The webpage title, capture time, page dimensions, and capture progress metadata.
  • Temporary tab and window identifiers used to return you to the original webpage.
  • Your one-time local consent choice.

FullPageRoll does not store the webpage URL or favicon. It does not read passwords, form entries, cookies, browsing history outside the page you explicitly capture, or data from other tabs.

02

How the data is used

The data is used only to scroll the page you selected, capture visible frames, stitch a preview, create the PNG or PDF you request, and return you to the source tab.

Capture starts only after a user action and after the local-data disclosure has been accepted.

03

Storage and retention

Capture records are stored locally in this browser using IndexedDB. FullPageRoll retains no more than four captures. Records older than 24 hours are removed on the next extension startup, privacy-page visit, capture start, or capture completion.

Failed and canceled captures discard their image fragments. You can delete the current capture from the result page or delete all captures with the controls inside the extension's Privacy Policy page.

04

Sharing and transmission

FullPageRoll has no server, analytics, advertising, account system, or remote code. Capture data is not transmitted to the developer, Google, Microsoft, or any third party. A file leaves extension storage only when the user explicitly downloads it through the browser.

05

Permissions

activeTab
Identifies the tab on which you invoked FullPageRoll.
http://*/*https://*/*
Let FullPageRoll reliably run its packaged capture code on regular webpages. This access is used only when you explicitly start a capture; FullPageRoll does not inspect pages in the background.
scripting
Runs the local measurement and scrolling code required for the capture.
unlimitedStorage
Prevents high-resolution local frames from failing at the default storage quota.
06

Limited Use

FullPageRoll's use of information complies with applicable browser extension store policies, including the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy's Limited Use requirements and the Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store Developer Policies. Data is used only to provide the extension's single purpose, is not sold or used for personalized advertising, and is not made available for human review.

07

Your choices

You can decline the disclosure and not capture a page, revoke consent at any time, delete individual captures, clear all local capture data, disable the extension, or uninstall it. Uninstalling removes the extension's local storage under the browser's normal extension-data behavior.

08

Changes and contact

If FullPageRoll changes how it handles data, it will show a new in-product disclosure before the changed handling begins and this policy will be updated.

For privacy questions, contact the publisher using the support address shown on FullPageRoll's browser extension store listing.
